The KIT South Campus has good connections to the highway network.

From the north from Frankfurt and Heidelberg (A5).

• Take the A5 freeway in the direction of Karlsruhe/Basel, leave the A5 at the Karlsruhe-Durlach exit.
• Continue in the direction of Karlsruhe (first exit).
• Follow the four-lane entrance road (Durlacher Allee) until you see the sign "KIT Campus Süd", then turn right (Adenauerring).
• The main entrance is located after a few meters on the left side (Adenauerring 7).
• After the barrier, you will be on Engesserstrasse.
• After about 350 m you will reach the LTI on the right side of the road - recognizable by the high-pressure steel reactor (photo on the right).

From the northwest from Cologne and Koblenz (A61)

• Take the A61 freeway to the A5, leave the A5 at the Karlsruhe-Durlach exit.
• Continue in the direction of Karlsruhe (first exit).
• Follow the four-lane entrance road (Durlacher Allee) until you see the sign "KIT Campus Süd", then turn right (Adenauer Ring).
• The main entrance is located after a few meters on the left side (Adenauerring 7).
• After the barrier, you will be on Engesserstrasse.

From the east from Munich and Stuttgart (A8)

• Take the A8 freeway in the direction of Karlsruhe as far as the Karlsruher Dreieck junction, then turn half-right onto the A5 in the direction of Frankfurt.
• Leave the A5 at the Karlsruhe-Durlach exit and continue towards Karlsruhe (first exit).
• Follow the four-lane entrance road (Durlacher Allee) until you see the sign "KIT Campus Süd", then turn right (Adenauer Ring).
• The main entrance is located after a few meters on the left side (Adenauerring 7).
