Structural changes, the expansion of measurement capabilities and the establishment of technology-intensive research areas have been realized since 2002. Especially in the area of light sources there have been strong changes. In addition to research projects on plasma radiation sources, we were able to establish further projects on inorganic and organic light emitting diodes at the institute. Several research projects on automotive lighting technology were initiated by the continuous improvement of our services in the test center for lighting equipment. Once again, it became apparent that the close integration of the test center and the university's institute operations is a special opportunity for us and our project partners.
The most important facts about the institute are summarized in the LTI brochure: Download here (pdf 4.7mb) or also in printed form by .
